• Andhra Pradesh State Skill Development Corporation (APSSDC) and European Centre for Mechatronics hosted Eight Days Workshop at VIT AP University.
Amaravati, India, August 6, 2019 : VIT AP University hosted an inaugural event of European Centre for Mechatronics (ECM) in its Amaravati campus. European canter for Mechatronics is the prestigious German organisation which is providing its cutting-edge Automation and Manufacturing solutions to German Industries since decades. Now for the first time in India it is planning to have their international presence in Andhra Pradesh to provide their services to Indian Industries. German Mechotronics Project Engineers Patrick Bertholdt, Arne Linnenkamp, Alexander Gabriel will provide training these 8 days’ workshop.
Vangapandu Venkata Nagaraj, President Indo European Centre for mechatronics in his address to media told that, in order to develop the ecosystem, in collaboration with APSSDC, ECM has partnered with 32 academic institutions in Andhra Pradesh. 64 experts from these organisations are being upskilled to train 4000 students across the state. This is also in line with the new policy of the state government towards local employment. This unique global initiative which is set to become a landmark project for the Manufacturing and Mechatronics research and development in AP.
Durga Prasad, Director, Technical – Indo euro synchronisation also said, that as per the wish of our chief minister Jagan Mohan Reddy these are all will help 75% jobs to local by imparting training in engineering colleges inline to the industrial requirements.

Where every student can avail a lakh rupee worth training in these eight days.
