South Korean tech giant Samsung has reduced the price of its most recent foldable smartphone — Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 — in India. The handset was launched in September last year first in the US and within two weeks of that in India.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 new price
Post the price cut, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 costs Rs 1,34,999. This means that the handset has got a price cut of Rs 15,000 as it was launched at Rs 1,49,999 last year.
The new price of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 has been updated on both Samsung India official website as well as on Amazon India website. The new price is applicable on retail stores too as Mumbai-based retailer Mahesh Telecom posted about it on Twitter.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 specs and features
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 offers a 7.6-inch fullHD+ foldable, Dynamic AMOLED Infinity-O Display of 1768×2208 pixels resolution with a 120Hz refresh rate and 22.5:18 aspect ratio. There is also a secondary 6.2-inch Super AMOLED Infinity Flex Display with 816x2260p resolution and 25:9 aspect ratio.
Powered by octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 865+ SoC, coupled with 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 has a triple rear camera on the back of three 12MP sensors. On the front, it has a 10MP sensor.
Backed by a 4,500mAh battery that supports fast charging, the Galaxy Z Fold 2 includes 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, UWB (Ultra Wide Band), and a USB Type-C port as connectivity options.
