HiPC 2019 : 26th IEEE International Conference on High Performance Computing

• 26TH IEEE INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON HIGH PERFORMANCE COMPUTING, DATA, AND ANALYTICS TO BE HELD IN HYDERABAD ON 17-20TH DECEMBER.

HiPC 2019 will be the 26th edition of the IEEE International Conference on High Performance Computing, Data and Analytics. HiPC serves as a forum to present current work by researchers from around the world as well as highlight activities in Asia in the area high performance computing and scientific, engineering and commercial applications.


The meeting focuses on all aspects of high performance computing systems and their scientific, engineering, and commercial applications. In 2016, to keep pace with new computing trends, the conference added two new areas of interest to its name: Data and Analytics. 2018 marked HiPC’s Silver Anniversary as we broadened the technical program spanning from high performance computing to Data Science. HiPC 2019 will be the 26th edition of the IEEE International Conference on High Performance Computing, Data and Analytics.

The conference has a history of attracting participation from reputed researchers from all over the world and receives strong industry support from companies operating globally and also established in India. In addition to the two days of industry exhibits, the sponsoring partners to the conference hold industry symposiums to bring together providers and users of HPC in a forum for presenting state-of-the-art in HPC platforms and technologies, for discussing best practices, and for exchanging experiences.


HiPC 2019 (High Performance Computing) Event Highlights

TECHNICAL SESSIONS

The conference technical program held on days 2, 3, and 4 will include plenary sessions consisting of keynote talks, and three days of single-track presentations of peer-reviewed papers from all over the world. This year the technical program will comprise of 39 technical paper presentations, reporting recent advances in topical areas of high performance computing and scalable data science.

STUDENT RESEARCH SYMPOSIUM

The meeting will host the 12th Student Research Symposium (SRS) aimed at fostering student research and providing a forum for students to present their work in all areas related to HPC and Data Science.

WOMEN IN COMPUTING

The meeting will host a Women in Computing event to provide a platform for women technologists to participate, present their work and popularize opportunities, challenges, and solutions, in the realm of responsible use of computing.

PRE-CONFERENCE WORKSHOPS

The meeting will host a workshop on December 16 targeting researchers in HPC and Data Science Communities and key personnel from prominent academic institutions in India.

FOSTERING TIGHTER INDUSTRY ACADEMIA PARTNERSHIP

The meeting will host of Birds of a Feather session with invited panelists who are leaders in Academia and Industry to discuss current challenges in enabling a tighter partnership and their ideas on addressing them.

INDUSTRY RESEARCH & USER SYMPOSIUM AND INDUSTRY EXHIBITS

The conference encourages industry participation in the main technical program and workshops, as well as the Industry, Research and User Symposium (IRUS) and vendor exhibition. On days 2 and 3, there will be a full program of industry exhibits and events.
