Hyderabad, India, January 31, 2020 : T-Hub, which leads India’s pioneering innovation ecosystem that powers next-generation products and new business models, today announced the selection of 45 startups for the third edition of its incubation program, Lab32. It is a comprehensive incubation program, which is tailor-made for early-stage tech product startups. The program aims to support the government’s ‘Startup India Initiative’ by directing entrepreneurship, innovation and addressing the challenges faced by startups.
The shortlisted startups offer technology innovations for developing solutions in key industries, such as healthtech, fintech, cyber security, consumer tech, real estate and construction. This year, Lab32 has virtually onboarded innovative startups from other cities who will receive a host of benefits via the virtual model of the program. Apart from the space at T-Hub, these startups will be eligible to receive all the benefits, such as access to three curated bootcamps, focused mentorship on aspects such as finance, investment, product management, user experience, go-to-market strategies, workshops and seminars from senior corporate executives/CXOs, serial entrepreneurs and investors, networking and peer-mentoring opportunities with alumni startups.
Ravi Narayan, CEO of T-Hub, said, Lab32 program is uniquely positioned to help those startups that have their engines revved up, and looking forward to active help from mentors and experts, and relevant customer and investor connects. Most startups at this stage would have slipped out of the range of incubator networks in India.
T-Hub has also developed a strong personalised mentorship model for the third batch. During the program, startups will be assigned the following set of mentors to ensure their strategic growth.
- Strategy Mentors
During the onboarding process, each startup will be assigned a ‘strategy mentor’. The strategy mentor will validate the inflexion point of the startups based on the metrics and guide them on the next steps in their growth journey.
- Chief Mentors
After the onboarding process, a dedicated ‘chief mentor’ will be assigned to each startup to track its progress and analyse the gaps. They will further validate and recommend specific areas of help to ensure the strategic growth of the startups.
- Functional Mentors
The ‘functional mentor’ is a subject matter expert who will further validate the pain points/gaps and provide targeted mentorship to the startups.
Rahul Varma, CEO and Co-founder, Unschool, said, “As an early-stage startup, it’s critical for us to be a part of a community that can provide right mentorship and scaling opportunities. Lab32 program has a record of fast-tracking the growth journey of startups by helping them get access to the best of industry expertise, tech mentorship, and business scaling opportunities. We are excited to be a part of this program and a vibrant community at T-Hub.”
T-Hub has onboarded more partners as services providers, such as Uber India, FactEye, Mentormind, amongst others, which will aid the startups in getting premium services at an affordable cost. They will support startups with world-class tools that will enable them to cut operational costs, become more productive and gain efficiency. For instance, Uber India via T-Hub will provide the startups with their executive account services that will ensure the customers do not have a surge pricing and are barred from any cancellation charges on booking cab services from their Uber apps.
All the Lab32 third batch startups will also be able to access the services of T-Hub’s existing premium partners like Amazon Web Services, DigitalOcean, Google Cloud, HubSpot, IBM, Microsoft, Zoho, amongst others.
