The retail giant has also posted jobs around Net Zero initiatives and sustainability, alongside launching its first UK micromobility hub in London, which is intended to support a zero-carbon future for the company. In June 2022, Amazon posted a ‘Net Zero Carbon Initiative Manager, Design & Construction’ role looking at construction initiatives to drive down Amazon’s carbon intensity. Furthermore, Amazon is also looking to hire tech-related roles in the UK to analyse key metrics to help it attain carbon neutrality by 2040. One example is the ‘Sr. Business Intelligence Engineer, Amazon Transportation Services Sustainability, Amazon Transportation Services’ role.
