Hyderabad, India, October 19, 2022: Model N, Inc., the leader in revenue optimization and compliance, recently opened its new product innovation facility in Hyderabad. The company also announced plans to expand its software engineering talent by increasing its focus on diversity and inclusion, as well as productizing new solutions that accelerate revenue optimization and compliance for life sciences and high-tech companies.
The 70,000-square-foot Model N facility, housing 500 employees, was inaugurated by Jayesh Ranjan, Principal Secretary of I&C & IT, Government of Telangana, and Mr. Jason Blessing, President & CEO, Model N, and individuals from the Model N leadership team.
The Model N Centre in Hyderabad is instrumental in bringing new product innovations to markets, such as State Price Transparency Management (SPTM) and 340B solutions that help pharmaceutical manufacturers manage the fluid drug pricing regulation and management landscape. Through its innovative and market-lead approach, Model N enables life sciences and high-tech innovators to streamline operations, scale strategically, and mitigate risks—currently working with 28 out of the top 30 global life sciences brands and 14 out of the top 20 global semiconductor brands.
“We welcome Model N to the fast-growing global IT hub of the world,” said Jayesh Ranjan. “Their presence reaffirms Hyderabad’s growth, and its ability to attract start-ups, venture capital firms, OEMs, policymakers, think tanks, and global technology companies.”
To date, 2022 has been a transformational year for Model N, with 70% of its customer base now being on its SaaS platform. Looking ahead, the company aims to drive profitable growth and complete Model N’s transition into a cloud-based company, as well as continue to innovate for its customers.
The growing team in Hyderabad remains focused on fostering innovation through experimentation. As an example, last year’s inaugural N-Ovation event—a Model N hackathon/talent showcase—brought together 200+ employees who created award-winning solutions that have since been incorporated into real features and functionality used by the Model N team and its customers. Model N intends to keep N-Ovation going and is gearing up for its second annual event in December 2022, where new ideas will have another chance to drive innovation and value for customers.
“Our state-of-the-art facility in India is a key driver of our business strategy and is highly valued within Model N’s worldwide operations,” said Mr. Blessing. “We aim to keep investing in India, and our target is to keep increasing our engineering talent pool in Hyderabad.”
