Electronic Team’s new application mirrors the iPhone and iPad screen to Chromecast devices with low latency, and also allows users to stream photos and videos.
ALEXANDRIA, VIRGINIA, USA, June 1, 2023/EINPresswire.com/ — Electronic Team, a US-based software company with decades of experience, presents its new application – DoCast, which has been released on App Store for iPhone and iPad. The app can mirror and stream to Chromecast-enabled TVs and Chromecast devices. DoCast solves the issue of Chromecast mirroring not being available on iPhones and iPads by default.
Mirroring in DoCast can be customized with a variety of settings, which include sound, auto-rotation, and video quality. These settings, including high casting quality and audio, are available by default in the free version of DoCast. While mirroring, latency does not exceed 1 second on stable network connections. Videos and photos can be viewed and cast with the built-in media gallery.
The main requirement of DoCast is the iPhone or iPad and the Chromecast being on the same WiFi network. The app will connect to any Chromecast device, including Chromecast Ultra or TVs by Sony, Sharp, and other brands which support the Chromecast technology.
The free version of DoCast is restricted: there are limits of 15 minutes per mirroring session, and 3 minutes when streaming. Photo viewing is not affected by the limits. In order to remove the restrictions, a user would need to purchase one of the available Premium Upgrades: Monthly, Yearly, or Lifetime. Additionally, the Yearly plan can be tried out for free with a two-week trial.
The download for DoCast can be found on the App Store page. And additional information concerning the app is located on its official website.
