Clearwater Dynamics, a Poole-based provider of maritime risk intelligence and InsurTech solutions, has welcomed Sam Bursey as COO.
Sam brings more than 20 years of experience in the tech industry, including roles as both COO and CFO.
Back in 2012 he was responsible for building the operational finance team for the London Olympics, guiding them through considerable change and growth.
Before that, he was senior manager on Deloitte’s technology integration service line, and finance director for the FTSE-100 listed The Capita Group plc.

Sam said: “I’ve been a huge admirer of the fantastic and valuable work Clearwater Dynamics does for many years.

Headquartered in Dorset, Clearwater also runs regional offices in Nigeria and Malaysia.
It counts governments, insurance companies, shipping operators and stakeholders, oil and gas operators, and vessel chartering departments among its clients.
