The new iPad Pro and iPad Air are officially available for buying in India. This is the seventh generation of the iPad Pro and sixth generation of the iPad Air. Both iPads were launched last week at Apple’s Let Loose event. While the iPad Pro features an all-new paper-thin design, swanky new OLED panel, and power of the next-generation M4 silicon, the iPad Air in 2024 comes in two different screen sizes—11- and 13-inch—and is rocking the M2 chip under the hood. Alongside the new iPads, Apple has also started selling the new Apple Pencil Pro and Magic Keyboard for iPad Pro 2024.

The 11-inch iPad Pro with Wi-Fi is priced at Rs 99,900 for 256GB, Rs 1,19,900 for 512GB, Rs 1,59,900 for 1TB and Rs 1,99,900 for 2TB respectively. The nano-textured glass options will set you back by Rs 1,69,900 for 1TB and Rs 2,09,900 for 2TB. The 11-inch iPad Pro with Wi-Fi and cellular (5G) is priced at Rs 1,19,900 for 256GB, Rs 1,39,900 for 512GB, Rs 1,79,900 for 1TB and Rs 2,19,900 for 2TB respectively. The nano-textured glass options will set you back by Rs 1,89,900 for 1TB and Rs 2,29,900 for 2TB.

The 11-inch iPad Air with Wi-Fi is priced at Rs 59,900 for 128GB, Rs 69,900 for 256GB, Rs 89,900 for 512GB and Rs 1,09,900 for 1TB respectively. The 11-inch iPad Air with Wi-Fi and cellular is priced at Rs 74,900 for 128GB, Rs 84,900 for 256GB, Rs 1,04,900 for 512GB and Rs 1,24,900 for 1TB.
The 13-inch iPad Air with Wi-Fi is priced at Rs 79,900 for 128GB, Rs 89,900 for 256GB, Rs 1,09,900 for 512GB and Rs 1,29,900 for 1TB. The 13-inch iPad Air with Wi-Fi and cellular is priced at Rs 94,900 for 128GB, Rs 1,04,900 for 256GB, Rs 1,24,900 for 512GB and Rs 1,44,900 for 1TB respectively.
Apple Pencil Pro, Magic Keyboard for iPad Pro 2024 India prices
The Apple Pencil Pro is priced at Rs 11,900. The 11-inch Magic Keyboard is priced at Rs 29,900 while a version for the 13-inch iPad Pro will set you back by Rs 33,900.
iPad Pro 2024 — Top specs, features
The iPad Pro 2024 is being billed as Apple’s thinnest product that’s thinner than even the iPad Nano. The 13-inch model is only 5.1mm thin. The 11-inch model just 5.3mm. The 11-inch version weighs only 444g (Wi-Fi) while the 13-inch version is just 579g. Both models come in a choice of either space black or silver. The new iPad Pro has an OLED display, a first for any iPad. Apple is using a technology called tandem OLED that uses light from two OLED panels to provide “phenomenal” full-screen brightness— that is up to 1000 nits of full-screen brightness for SDR and HDR content, and 1600 nits peak for HDR. You get ProMotion (adaptive 120Hz refresh rate) and True Tone. The new iPad Pro marks the global debut of Apple’s M4 chip.
The iPad Pro has a single 12-megapixel rear camera (with 4K video) and another 12-megapixel camera on the front, now in a landscape orientation. It has four speakers and supports Wi-Fi 6E and 5G along with Bluetooth 5.3. Apple is going completely eSIM in this generation. The USB Type-C port has Thunderbolt 3/USB 4 speeds (40Gb/s).

The new iPad Air has the same design as the old iPad Air from 2022. You can get it a choice of space grey, starlight, purple, and blue. Both 11- and 13-inch iPad Air models are using an IPS LCD “Liquid Retina” display. The 13-inch model has a slightly higher peak SDR brightness (600 nits versus 500 nits on the 11-inch). New to this generation of iPad Air is support for Apple Pencil’s hover functionality. Refresh rate is still capped at 60Hz. True Tone is available. Powering the iPad Air 2024 is the Apple M2 chip which in theory is up to 50 percent faster than the M1 inside the previous model.
