Brentin Heil pitched a three-hitter, striking out eight and walking four to lift second-seeded Gloucester Tech to a 5-1 victory over second-seeded Bergen Tech in the final of the NJTAC Tournament at East Brunswick Tech.
For Heil, a senior, it was his seventh consecutive appearance allowing one or zero earned runs. He finishes the season with 74 strikeouts and his career with 217, both are Gloucester Tech (12-13) school records.
