India – Aug. 6, 2024: THE FINALS Community Cup, an open-for-all esports tournament for the FPS title, has wrapped up its Split 1 with IND coming in first place. With this, players can gear up for Split 2, which will also feature open-for-all qualifiers, leading to the main event, where players will have a chance at the $10,000 prize pool.
Registrations for Split 2 are currently open, and players can band together in teams of five to compete in the esports event. Players can also join THE FINALS India – Skyesports Discord server to scout for teammates to compete in the event.
The top teams from Split 2 of THE FINALS Community Cup will advance to the Main Event. Here, they will be joined by the two best squads from Split 1 – IND and Worst Generation – along with two teams from the LCQ to battle it out from Aug. 16 to 18 for the title of champions and a lion’s share of the $10,000 prize pool.
Commenting on his victory, the captain of IND, Kshitiz “Tempest” Mishra said, “With the Terminal Attack mode getting considerable attention from the community, the level of opponents we are facing is getting considerably tougher. I can’t wait to see the top teams from Split 2 who will join us in the main event of THE FINALS Community Cup later this month. I am confident in my team, and I believe we have what it takes to become the champions.”
