Apple Watch Pride Edition Braided Solo Loop launched in India ahead of May 7 Let Loose iPad event

Apple has launched a new Pride edition Watch band in India. The launch comes just a day ahead of its big May 7 Let Loose iPad event. The Apple Watch Pride Edition Braided Solo Loop which is joined by a matching watch face and dynamic wallpapers for iOS and iPadOS champions the cause of LGBTQ+ empowerment across the world.

Inspired by various pride flags, the Braided Solo Loop boasts a striking design with a laser-etched lug displaying “PRIDE 2024.” Its colours pay homage to diverse communities, with black and brown representing the Black, Hispanic, and Latin communities and those affected by HIV/AIDS, and pink, light blue, and white symbolising transgender and non-binary individuals.

“Through this Pride Collection, Apple is proud to continue its support of LGBTQ+ advocacy organisations whose efforts are bringing about positive change, including ILGA World, a global federation committed to advancing the rights of LGBTQ+ people worldwide; and the Human Rights Campaign, a global advocacy group working to ensure all LGBTQ+ people are treated as full and equal citizens,” Apple said in a press release.

Additionally, the Pride Radiance watch face and corresponding wallpapers will debut “soon” alongside watchOS 10.5, iOS 17.5, and iPadOS 17.5 updates.
