MUMBAI: Renowned investor Ashish Kacholia today added to his position in Garware Hi-Tech Films after he bought 128,000 shares of the company through a bulk deal on the BSE at Rs 755 per share.
Prior to the transaction, Kacholia held 2.03 per cent stake in the company, whose shares have soared 81 per cent since the beginning of the year.
The commodity chemicals company has benefited from the surge in prices of various specialty chemicals due to supply shortages and high global demand.
In another transaction, Dalmia Power sold 13.4 million shares of
at Rs. 363.8 apiece through a bulk deal on the BSE.
Societe Generali bought 2.21 million of Indian Energy Exchange’s shares at Rs. 361.7 apiece through a bulk deal on the BSE, while Copthall Mauritius bought 1.65 million shares at Rs. 362.3 per share.
