• 31 students of 12 top schools formed 6 teams competed for the TYE (TiE Young Entrepreneurs) Innovation Challenge
• This season, 31 students from 12 top schools from across the city formed 6 teams and pitched their innovative solutions at a competition held on Sunday.
• Students from top schools of twin cities such as Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan’s Public School, Jubilee Hills, Aga Khan Academy, Chirec International, Delhi Public School, Glendale Academy International, Jubilee Hills Public School, Oakridge International School, Sadhu Vaswani International Schools & various other participated in this program.
Hyderabad, India, January 22, 2019 : TiE Hyderabad declared, Hyderabad Student Team Carbonation for their business idea Charcoholism (an innovative solution that tackles with the ill-effects due alcohol consumption) as the winner of TiE Young Entrepreneurs TYE 2018-19. Team Pentadactyl stood runner up for their B-plan WarnCup (An intelligent sensor & warning system for detecting temperature of food/beverages contents before we consume).
In October 2018, TiE Hyderabad had launched their 8th edition of TYE (TiE Young Entrepreneurs). A total of 79 students applied from 20 schools in twin cities. A selected batch of 31 students underwent a rigorous curriculum on entrepreneurship and other business topics in 12 sessions, including 3 team mentoring sessions and an innovation challenge on the grand finale that concluded on 20th January 2019.
Xavier Augustin, CEO of Y-Axis his address after giving away award said, TiE Hyderabad initiative is a great encouragement the next generation to hone up life skills necessary to face future challenges and create simpler solutions rather than worrying about problems. He lauded TiE Hyderabad for their 8th successive competition and giving a platform for young students to showcase their business ideas.

Congratulating the winners Kali Prasad Gadiraju (Past President, TiE Hyderabad and Office Managing Partner, E&Y Hyderabad) said “The new generation of student entrepreneurs has access to TYE platform, and a host of successful mentors, previous gen would consider scarce. He urged the participants to take their innovative ideas seriously, and help solve real-time problems that are affecting people.”
During the TYE course, the participants interacted with many seasoned entrepreneurs, from TiE Organisation. The structured program offered by TiE Hyderabad included a day-long session on Design Thinking by experts and a team bonding/ group working session by HR professionals.
The jury for the TYE Entrepreneurship Award was Hema Balakrishnan – Founder Color D Earth, Alekh Barli, CEO – Intellibot.io, Dr. P Rantakar -Vice President & Practice Head, Life Sciences – Tech Mahindra.
Winners- Team Carbonation : Sohini (Chirec International), Vedant Chachan (Chirec Public School), Sathvik Sai Kaza(Oakridge International School), Kushal (Delhi Public School), Anusai Dasari (Oakridge International School) who are mentored by Mr. Murali Kakarla (CEO, Innobox System Pvt Ltd) were declared the Winners of TYE Innovation Challenge 2018-19.
Runner up – Team Pentadactyl : G Vineeth (DRS International School), Donna Thakker (Chirec International School), Shashank (Bharathi Vidya Bhavan), Ridah Shaistah(Oakridge International School) & Ananya Shah (Aga Khan Academy) mentored by Pranav Shah (CEO, Enter Pi), were declared the Runners-up of TYE innovation challenge 2018-19.

These mentors unlocked the potential of the participants in order to get the best out of them.
