The Centre for Distance and Virtual Learning (CDVL), University of Hyderabad (UoH) has started offering Diploma Programmes through distance mode since 1994. The target groups identified for these Programmes are in service personnel looking forward to improve their skills and knowledge to enable to go up in the ladder in their own organization or elsewhere and Fresh graduates intending to improve their chances of employment on successful completion of these Programmes.
The Centre for Distance and Virtual Learning (CDVL), University of Hyderabad (UoH) has invited applications from eligbile Graduate Candidates for admission to the Diploma Programmes offered through distance mode for the year 2024.

One-year duration programmes offered includes Business Management, Project Management, Cyber Laws, Forensic Science, Library Automation Networking, Communicative English, Telecom Technology Management, Energy Management, AI & ML, Health Care Management, Infection Prevention Control … etc.

Centre for Distance and Virtual Learning (CDVL), Director S. Jeelani said, The Centre initially started with two Diploma Programmes. Presently it is offering 14 One year Diploma Programmes, which are employable, knowledge oriented and skill developing programmes. The Centre for distance and virtual learning is also jointly offering diploma programmes with NIRD & PR (National Institute of Rural Development & Panchayati Raj), Truth Labs,, IFCAI (Infection Control Academy of India), GPRI Care, Hyderabad, BSNL – RTTC, L V Prasad Eye Institute, Hyderabad and Fernandez Foundation, Hyderabad, for the benefit of the students in quality of learning and practical training. CDVL has recently recognized as National Consultative Member for finalization of NAAC ODL accreditation procedures, he added.
How to Apply:
Admission to these Programmes is based on Merit, Past Academic record and professional experience. Students who are already pursuing full-time courses can also join. Admitted students will be given study material soft copy and will also have an online facility for accessing video lectures and study material.
