The Davao Doctors Hospital in the Philippines has announced its adoption of the Karl Storz Multidisciplinary Minimally Invasive Surgery (MIS) Tower in its surgical procedures.

The MIS tower features a full high-definition (HD) monitor to provide surgeons with clear imaging for accurate diagnosis and seamless procedure execution.

According to the hospital, the new technology minimises the need for large incisions, allowing for enhanced efficiency of clinical outcomes, quicker recovery times, and reduced complications post-operation.

Members from the hospital’s OB-GYN and surgery department were present during the technology’s unveiling ceremony where the head of Gyne-MIS, Dr. Junette Ko, exhibited the Campo Trophyscope 2.9 mm camera, one of the tower’s features.
