Department of Fertilizers successfully completed the Special Campaign 4.0
Plantation drives undertaken under ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’ among the PSUs of the Department of Fertilizers
Special Campaign 4.0 generated revenues of more than Rs. 1.91 crore and 716240 Sq.ft. space has been freed after the disposal of scrap and other redundant materials

Department of Fertilizers (DoF) along with its 9 PSUs has successfully completed the Special Campaign 4 conducted from 2nd to 31st October, 2024 with an aim to achieve the goals of institutionalizing Swachhata and reducing pendency in Government offices as per the Guidelines issued by the Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances (DARPG).
3884 Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samriddhi Kendras (PMKSK), were identified as the Cleanliness sites under the Swachhata Special Campaign 4.0 initiatives relating to Department of Fertilizers with an aim to improve the PMKSKs with clean premises, enhanced facilities and easy accessibility for farmers.
The Plantation drives were also undertaken under ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’ among the PSUs of DoF, IFFCO, KRIBHCO etc. About 6.70 lakh plant saplings have been planted so far, under ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’ by the various PSUs of DoF, IFFCO, KRIBHCO etc.
All efforts were done by the Department of Fertilizers and its PSUs for making progress towards the review and weeding out of old files (both physical and e-files) as per the Record Retention Schedule, Parliamentary Assurances, disposal of Public Grievances, reduction of paper work, disposal of the e-waste, scrap material etc. so that they can improve efficiency and space. It is relevant to mention that Special Campaign 4.0 generated revenues of more than Rs. 1.91 crore and 716240 Sq.ft. space has been freed after the disposal of scrap and other redundant materials. 134846 physical files were identified and reviewed. 117531 physical files have been weeded out during the said campaign.
Awareness was also created for widespread participation in the Swachhata Special Campaign 4.0 activities. In this regard, more than 288 official Tweets were done by the Department of Fertilizers and its PSUs through the social media handles of X, Facebook, Instagram etc. relating to the various Swachhata Campaign 4.0 initiatives undertaken by them.
The progress of Special Campaign 4.0 was also monitored on a dedicated portal www.scdpm.gov.in by DARPG and updated information was uploaded in the SCDPM portal by the Department of Fertilizers on a regular basis.
