Hyderabad, India, February 20, 2019 : The Global R&D Summit organized annually is a flagship event of FICCI, focused on the emerging areas of Science and Technology developments around the world. Each year the Summit builds a thematic track around which various discussions and deliberations takes place involving world-renowned speakers and an eclectic mix of audience.
The Global R&D Summit 2019, a two-day flagship integrated conference and exhibition is being held on 21-22 February 2019 in Hyderabad. As India swiftly develops into an R&D hub, the summit will bring key stakeholders from the research and development and innovation ecosystem from across the world for an engaging summit focused on “International Collaboration in Research and Development for Sustainable Development”.
The focus of the 2019 Global R&D Summit is on India-Africa collaboration and the theme is “International Collaboration in Research and Development for Sustainable Growth”. This is in line with the vision of our Prime Minister to share our science, technology and innovation with Africa for shared prosperity.
FICCI helped nurture and build deep grassroots connect with hundreds of top researchers/entrepreneurs across Africa who now understand technology innovation and commercialization. This has established a good working relationship with more than 45 African countries. This two-day flagship integrated conference and exhibition, expect to host close to 15 S&T Ministers and senior scientists from the partnering African countries.
Concurrent to the conference, FICCI hosting an exhibition to showcase some of the major achievements and capabilities of leading R&D-focused organizations from industry, Government and Academia. This vibrant platform is open for all leading players across the sector including agriculture, food processing, healthcare, life sciences, pharma, electronics, defence, oil& gas, housing, water & sanitation, etc.
The unique platform will offer participants to explore new collaborations, exchange useful ideas, introduce, showcase, promote, to the world, their offerings, services and/ or products. There will be facilities to conduct business discussions with other interested companies on potential business relations, collaborations, joint ventures etc. The exhibition will be open for 2 days (Thursday, February 21 to Friday, February 22, 2019) coinciding with the days of the main conference. The Exhibition center floor area will be accessible to all the registered conference attendees.
