Grace Hopper Celebration India 2019, to be held on 6-8 November in Bangalore

AnitaB.org India, a nonprofit organization focused on the advancement of women in technology, announced its speaker lineup today for the 10th Anniversary of Grace Hopper Celebration India (GHCI). GHCI is produced by AnitaB.org and presented in partnership with ACM India.

GHCI (Grace Hopper Celebration India) is Asia’s largest technical conference for women technologists. The Celebration will be held from November 6-8, 2019, at the Bangalore International Exhibition Centre (BIEC). A record 5,376 women technologists from the across the world attended GHCI in 2018.


“2019 is a landmark year for Grace Hopper Celebration India (GHCI), as we celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Celebration and the achievements and future of women in technology,” said Maggie Inbamuthiah, Managing Director for AnitaB.org India. “GHCI will continue to support and inspire women technologists to break boundaries and transform the world of technology. “Over the years, GHCI has played a significant role in raising the profile of all women in technology, encouraging young women to consider careers in tech, giving companies the venue to showcase their diversity, equity, and inclusion credentials, and serving as a resource to recruit for diversity,” added Maggie.

GHCI will celebrate the wealth of talent here in the region and showcase the incredible and innovative female technologists present in this community.”

GHCI 19 highlights include sessions on the latest technologies with a focus on Artificial Intelligence, Analytics, Agile and DevOps, High Performance Computing, Emerging Technologies, Design and Product Evolution, Tech Workshops, Hardware and Internet Of Things (IoT), and Tech for Social Impact.

This year, GHCI 19 is also collaborating with IEEE to publish original research in computing.

Attendees at GHCI 19 can also look forward to the Career Fair (exclusively for women in technology), Poster Session, Speed Mentoring, TechTalks, and Expert Meetups. A huge attraction at GHCI 19 will be the Tech Expo, which will showcase some of the latest technology products and solutions from the world of startups and large organizations.
