A teaser published by Flipkart has revealed that the Infinix Note 40 Pro 5G series is set to make its debut in India in April. This follows the recent global launch of the Infinix Note 40 Pro+ 5G and Infinix Note 40 Pro 5G, both featuring the MediaTek Dimensity 7020 SoC.
While the company has yet to confirm the exact launch date, the device is likely to launch soon. There have been reports suggesting that the Infinix Note 40 Pro+ 5G has made an appearance on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) website, hinting the launch event might not be too far.

The leaks haven’t yet hinted what could be the India price of the new Infinix phone. But, the global launch gives us some hints about the same. The Infinix Note 40 Pro+ 5G is priced starting from $309 (approximately Rs 25,000), while the Infinix Note 40 Pro 5G starts at $289 (approximately Rs 24,000).
Infinix Note 40 series: Specs, features
Both the Infinix Note 40 Pro+ 5G and Infinix Note 40 Pro 5G are equipped with a 6.78-inch full-HD+ curved AMOLED display. The panel refreshes at 120Hz. Powering these devices is an octa-core 6nm MediaTek Dimensity 7020 SoC. The devices run on the latest Android 14-based XOS 14 OS.
Optics-wise, both models sport a triple camera setup, led by a 108-megapixel main sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS) and 3x zoom capabilities. Accompanying this primary sensor are a 2-megapixel depth sensor and a 2-megapixel macro camera. Additionally, they feature a 32-megapixel front camera for selfies and video calls.
Meanwhile, the Infinix Note 40 Pro 5G packs a slightly larger 5,000mAh battery under the hood. The company has given support for 45W wired charging and 20W wireless MagCharge.
The Infinix Note 40 Pro+ 5G stands out with the inclusion of Infinix’s proprietary Cheetah X1 chip and is powered by a 4,600mAh battery. This device supports 100W wired charging and 20W wireless MagCharge technology.
