Innovative AI partnerships redefine healthcare delivery, says GlobalData

One of the most notable advancements in healthcare AI is the partnership between AvaSure, Oracle, and NVIDIA. The collaboration aims to create an AI-driven virtual concierge system. This project aims to streamline hospital operations by managing staff and patient requests in real time, reducing the workload on bedside staff, and enhancing patient care overall.

Elia Garcia, Medical Analyst at GlobalData, comments: “Beyond clinical uses, AI is also transforming the administrative side of healthcare. The Suki Assistant, developed by AI technology provider Suki, uses voice recognition and AI-based dictation to help healthcare providers efficiently complete electronic health record (EHR) entries. By allowing clinicians to input data using simple voice commands, the Suki Assistant ease the documentation process and frees up more time for direct patient care.”

AI is also making notable progress in specialized areas like neonatal care. AngelEye Health, a US based pediatric care company, is expanding its capabilities in neonatal intensive care units (NICUs). The company plans to integrate AI, computer vision, and machine learning into its NICU bedside cameras, enabling them to take a more active role in monitoring and caring for critically ill newborns.

With the help of machine learning, AngelEye’s camera systems can track early health indicators on newborns, enabling healthcare providers to intervene sooner and improve long term outcomes.

Garcia concludes: “Developments in AI-powered patient care, clinical decision-making, and operational efficiency are expected to become increasingly refined, creating new opportunities for enhancing healthcare. Incorporating AI into different areas of healthcare will help the industry address the rising demand for more personalized care.”
