JAC Delhi Counselling 2024: After May 15, candidates seeking admission to Delhi Government-funded engineering, management, and architecture programs will be able to register for Joint Admission Committee (JAC) Delhi counselling.
The official website, jacdelhi.admissions.nic.in, will also provide essential documents such as the information brochure, seat matrix, and counselling schedule.
JAC was coordinated by Netaji Subhas University of Technology last year.
JEE Main 2024 scores are used to facilitate admission to BTech programs.
The JAC Delhi counselling process filled 6,666 engineering seats across five participating institutions and 90 BArch seats across two participating institutions.
In addition to the registration fee, candidates are required to pay transaction fees of Rs 1,500.
Seats available and participating universities for JAC Delhi Counselling 2024
There is a one-month window for candidates to complete the registration process. Here is a list of participating universities and the number of available seats:
- There are 2515 seats at Delhi Technological University (DTU).
- The Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women (IGDTUW) has 1017 seats
- The Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology, Delhi (IIITD) has 498 seats
- There are 2237 seats available at Netaji Subhas University of Technology (NSUT).
- The Delhi Skill and Entrepreneurship University (DSEU) offers 489 seats
Documents to be uploaded for JAC Delhi Counselling 2024
For the counselling process, candidates need to submit a number of documents, including the receipt of payment for the seat acceptance fee, the online registration form signed by the candidate and his or her parent or guardian.
A printout of the filled-out choices, three passport-sized photographs, a printout of the JEE admit card and score card for 2024, class 12 marks sheet, and seat assignment letter.
It is also required that they provide a copy of the seat allotment letter, a copy of the date of birth as per the Class 10 high school or equivalent exam, any bonus point documents (if eligible for IIIT-D bonus points), and a medical fitness certificate as well as the reserved category or subcategory certificate.
How to register for JAC Delhi Counselling 2024?
- First, applicants must prove who they are by giving their name and JEE Main application number.
- Once the candidates have been authenticated, they can log in by getting a code on their phone.
- Give the entry form all the information it asks for.
- Follow the instructions given to upload all the necessary files.
- Pay the entry fee when you’re done.
As part of the registering process, candidates are asked to rank the importance of their course and college choices. The admission offers will be sent out in the order of merit, based on the JAC cut-off factors.
