NEW DELHI: The JEE Main 2021 for engineering stream commenced from February 24 and will continue till February 26. The students who appeared for the JEE Main Paper 1 Exam on Thursday, February 25, shift 1 found the paper easier than expected. The National Testing Agency (NTA) is conducting the First Session of JEE Main 2021 exams in two shifts. The first shift of JEE Main Paper 1 started at 9 am and concluded at 12 noon. The Second shift will begin at 3 pm and will conclude at 6 pm. This year, more than 6 lakh candidates have registered for the engineering entrance examination.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) is conducting the JEE Main 2021 at 852 examination centres spread across the country. This year, the JEE Main exam papers have been set in 13 different languages including – English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Gujarati, Marathi, Punjabi, Urdu, Malayalam, Kannada, Bengali, Odia, and Assamese.
The NTA conducts JEE Main entrance exam for admission to various undergraduate programs in NITs, IIITs, and other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs).

As per the initial reaction of students who appeared for the JEE Main Paper 1 in morning shift, most of the students found the Maths section lengthy while physics was simple. Chemistry section was of moderate difficulty level. Many students said that overall the paper this year was easier than the previous year’s papers.
