The fifth edition of Starmus will be held at the ETH Zurich, Zurich, Switzerland, from June 24 – 29 2019. Prominent scientists, artists, legendary space explorers and Apollo astronauts will be attending in order to inspire and educate the next generation of great minds and explorers and regenerate the spirit of discovery. Kaspersky Lab, a supporter of the international Starmus Festival since 2016, will be bringing its mission and commitment – to Save the World.
The aim of Starmus is to inspire and educate the next generation of explorers and regenerate the spirit of discovery, with many of the lectures held at the ETH Zurich focused on the future of humanity. In line with the theme, Kaspersky Lab will be hosting a dedicated space within the festival venue to explain and consider how education, transparency, and cross-border collaboration could make the world, and cyberspace in particular, a better and safer place for all.
Kaspersky Lab believes that in an ultra-connected world, the digital future of humanity demands transparency and trust. In line with this belief, the company launched a Global Transparency Initiative in late 2017 that, among other things includes a newly opened Transparency Center in Zurich where governments and trusted partners can review information on company’s products and their security.
