MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Middle Tennessee returns to the Glass House for its final regular season game of the season against LA Tech on Saturday, March 9. Tipoff is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. CT. The game will air on the Blue Raider Network and broadcast on ESPN+.

SERIES HISTORY

» This marks the 19th meeting in series history between the Middle Tennessee Lady Raiders and LA Tech Lady Techsters.
» Middle Tennessee owns a 11-7 lead over LA Tech in the all-time series.
» MTSU won the previous meeting against LA Tech this season 64-61 ont hte road in over time. Anastasiia Boldyreva logged a career 32 points, 12 rebounds and four blocks, while Ta’Mia Scott added 20 points and 14 boards.

LADY RAIDER NOTES

» Middle Tennessee clinched the 2023-24 Conference USA Regular Season Title. This marks the second consecutive and 21st overall regular season championship in program history.
» Savannah Wheeler graduated this December with a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Integrated Studies and plans to pursue another degree in Health and Human Performance. 
» With a pair of triples against GCU, Wheeler became just the 16th player in CUSA history to eclipse 200 career made three-point field goals.
» With four three-point field goals against Sam Houston, Courtney Whitson became the all-time record holder at Middle Tennessee with 260.
» The Lady Raiders are coming off a 67-52 win over Liberty. Savannah Wheeler tallied 21 points, seven assists and four rebounds in the final road trip of the season.
» With five rebounds against FIU, Courtney Whitson joined Ebony Rowe as the only Lady Raiders in program history to eclipse 1,000 career rebounds and 1,000 career points.
» With 18 points against the Miners, Savannah Wheeler became the 10th player in Conference USA history to eclipse 2,000 career points.
» With 13 free throws against the Aggies, Wheeler became the CUSA all-time leader in career free throws made with 579.
» With eight points against the Aggies, Jalynn Gregory became just the 34th Lady Raider to eclipse 1,000 career points.
» With a career-high eight triples against the Gamecocks, Jalynn Gregory became the 17th player in CUSA history to eclipse 200 career made three-pointers. She joins Savannah Wheeler and Courtney Whitson as the only Lady Raiders to accomplish that feat. 
» Anastasiia Boldyreva has established herself as one of the top defenders in the nation. She currently leads the league and ranks fourth in the nation with 87 blocks on the season.
» Middle Tennessee became just the 25th school in NCAA Division I women’s basketball history and the third in Conference USA to reach 1,000 program wins on Thursday, Nov. 9 when the Lady Raiders defeated the Florida A&M Rattlers 93-48.
» The 2023-24 roster boasts seven international players: Jada Grannum (Canada); Dora Van Rijs (Hungary); Anastasiia BoldyrevaIullia Grabovskaia and Stanislava Kabernick (Russia); Sifa Ineza (Rwanda); Zahira Arizmendi Rubio(Spain). Entering this season the Lady Raiders have only had 10 international players in program history.
» Head Coach Rick Insell has led the Lady Raiders to 17 consecutive post-seasons. He has tallied a 458-155 record at his alma mater.

SCOUTING THE LADY TECHSTERS

» Louisiana Tech raced out to a 22-4 lead after the first quarter on their way to a 71-57 win over Sam Houston on Wednesday night. Four Lady Techsters scored in double figures, led by Robyn Lee with 14 points and eight rebounds. Anna Larr Roberson and Mackenzie Wurm each contributed 12 while Silvia Nativi added 11 and seven assists. 
» Jianna Morris picked up her second Conference USA Freshman of the Week. The Sherwood, Ark., native had 17 points, four rebounds, five assists, and only one turnover in 73 minutes in two games. Morris hit a 40 foot 3-pointer as time expired on the third quarter to give the Lady Techsters the momentum back against UTEP. 
» Roberson was named LSWA Player of the Week after averaging 18.5 points and 3.5 rebounds. During the game against UTEP, Roberson grabed her 900th board of her career, making her the 13th Lady Techster with 1,500 points and 900 rebounds. 
» With the win against Jacksonville State on Feb. 15, 2024, head coach Brooke Stoehr reached 200 career wins as a head coach. Coach Stoehr won 71 at Northwestern State before coming to Tech and winning 132 games. 
» Roberson became the 22nd Lady Techster to reach the 1,500 career point plateau against New Mexico State on Jan. 27, 2024. Roberson sits at No. 20 on the Lady Techster all-time scoring list with 1,582, 17 behind Shanavia Dowdell for No. 19. 
» Roberson surpassed 800 career rebounds against Vanderbilt on Dec. 3 and 900 against UTEP on Feb. 23. She is just the 13th Lady Techster with 1,500 points and 900 rebounds. She also ranks No. 3 in career free throw percentage at 81.3. 
» LA Tech is shooting the three-ball at a high rate this season. The Lady Techsters are averaging 6.1 three-pointers per game and have knocked down 177 this season, the fourth most in program history. The school record for most three-pointers in a season is 186 set during the 2019-2020 season. 
» Tech is 9-1 when holding teams to under 60 on the season. Tech held South Alabama to just 34 points, the fewest against a D1 opponent since holding UTSA to 30 on Mar. 5, 2020. 
» Paris Guillory was named CUSA Freshman of the Week on Jan. 8 for her performance against Sam Houston. She saw action for the first time since Nov. 25 and contributed 10 points and four rebounds in 16 minutes of action. 
» Jianna Morris earned CUSA Freshman of the Week on Jan. 1 for her performance against Abilene Christian. The Techster’s point guard scored 10 points, tied a career-high with five rebounds, and set a new mark with three steals while adding two assists.
» Tech is celebrating the 50th season of Lady Techsters basketball. As one of the most storied programs in NCAA history, the Techsters have three national championships, five runner-up finishes, and 13 Final Four appearances.
