New features added in MY GHMC App

Hyderabad :  My GHMC App which was launched by Greater Hyderabad Muncipal Corporation (GHMC) in July 2016 to address various civic issues has been receiving good response from citizens.

Benefits of My GHMC App : 

1. The integrated services to be provided through the mobile app include payment of property tax, trade license fee, view status of Layout Regularisation Scheme (LRS) applications, downloading of birth and death certificates for records digitally signed on GHMC server and submitting of civic related grievances like manholes, potholes, open dumping points, streetlights, etc.
2. Citizens can utilize this “MY GHMC” app and get the information on property tax, trade license and LRS can pay the required fee and get receipts.
3. Further the citizens can down load the birth and death certificates and it can be utilized during school admissions, job purpose, welfare schemes, insurance purposes and at other places, in this regard the government will discuss the matter with other departments to make it the authenticity of digital certificates and issue necessary orders accordingly.
4. Further, the citizens can use this app to put their grievances by taking photo of the in issue, like road conditions, street light, sanitation problems etc., where through APP the message directly sent to the officer concerned in turn the officer will rectify and close the issue, if not satisfied with the action, the citizens can send message and the grievance ticket will re-open again and the information will escalate to the higher officer and monitored from there.
5. Presently the app compatible with only Android phones and the same will be extended to I-phones in future.
