Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. today announced the Snapdragon® X65 and X62 5G M.2 Modules, developed in collaboration with Foxconn Industrial Internet and Quectel. This product portfolio brings Qualcomm Technologies’ leading 5G connectivity to laptop and desktop computers, enabling easy 5G adoption for PCs.

Based off the reference designs announced in May 2021, the modules are powered by the Snapdragon® X65 and X62 5G Modem-RF Systems. These turnkey modules begin with the world’s first 10-gigabit 5G and 3GPP Release 16-compliant modem, delivering high power efficiency, unmatched spectrum aggregation, and truly global 5G with both sub-6 and extended-range mmWave.
In Collaboration with Foxconn Industrial Internet and Quectel, Qualcomm Technologies developed a portfolio of M.2 modules that seamlessly integrate with the latest desktop and laptop computers. Utilizing Qualcomm Technologies’ leadership and expertise in 5G, Snapdragon X65 and X62 M.2 Modules enable OEMs not only to reduce time to launch for 5G-enabled products, but also to offer leading 5G connectivity without compromising form factors or power efficiency.
The Snapdragon X65 and X62 5G M.2 Modules are currently sampling and are expected to be available commercially through Qualcomm Technologies in the second half of 2022.
