“We are very excited to announce the hiring of Dr. Crittenden, who has an unwavering focus on clinical excellence and is deeply passionate about doing his part in improving the healthcare system for all. As an expert in value-based care models, he also had responsibility for clinical product development and led the service teams responsible for utilization management, case management, health equity programs and business development. Prior to Evergreen, Dr. Crittenden served in physician executive roles with both Anthem and Humana, where he was able to translate his direct patient care experience to create programs that delivered improved health outcomes in both commercial and Medicare Advantage service lines. Dr. Crittenden attended both undergraduate and medical school at Tulane University. He completed residency in internal medicine at The University of Chicago and fellowship in nephrology at Weill Cornell Medical College and is board-certified in internal medicine and nephrology.
“Quantum Health invented and now leads the navigation market, and I am thrilled with the opportunity to build upon what Quantum Health has created and ensure our Healthcare Warriors® are best positioned to tackle the many challenges our fragmented healthcare system continues to generate for our members and clients,” said Dr. Crittenden. “I am excited to join a team rapidly evolving its clinical programs, operations and scale to enable the company to drive even more engagement and better health outcomes along with better supporting high-cost and complex care members and continuing our focus on pharmacy management for clients.”
“As the industry’s leading independent navigation platform that supports over 3 million members and over 500 self-insured employer clients, Quantum Health’s unique clinical model and teams play a critical role in the healthcare experience we provide and outcomes we’re known for delivering at scale across our diverse member base. Dr. Crittenden will be instrumental in expediting our efforts to bring new clinical models to market that drive better health experience for members and value for our clients,” said Steven Knight, Chief Operating Officer for Quantum Health.
