ESG is no longer just a label but a critical business consideration. To reflect this, we’re looking to recognise one particularly environmentally-conscious company at the South Coast Tech & Innovation Awards 2024.
Sponsored by the University of Southampton Science Park, the Sustainable Tech Company of the Year will be presented to the nominee with the most impressive products or services that align with its ESG ambitions.
Entrants must have in-house developed technology with owned intellectual property, showcasing its contribution to sustainable practices and minimising environmental impact in business.

First and foremost, we’re looking for a company whose products are creating real change in the environmental impacts of the South Coast region. Whether it’s redesigning existing technology to make it more friendly to the climate or manufacturing exciting new products to fix common problems in the sector, innovation is the name of the game.
Integrate sustainability into your processes
It’s no good having a sustainable final product if this is not reflected by the processes used to make it. Not only will our independent judges be analysing your products, they’ll also be analysing the ways in which your business is run. Effective sustainability efforts are made successful by strong, confident leadership.
Integrate sustainability into your workplace
The winner of this award will be a nominee that lives and breathes sustainability – being environmentally-conscious should be a way of life that is consistent within your workplace. If you have made steps to live and work in a sustainable manner that goes beyond your company’s products, then this award is for you.
