NEW DELHI, April 23, 2018 : Global construction technology leader Trimble today unveiled its Pan-India training program to train the next-generation of engineering and construction industry professionals. The company also announced the opening of its latest Tekla Authorized Training Center (ATC) in Vijayawada (Andhra Pradesh), taking the number of ATCs to 17 across India.
Trimble Tekla runs education, training and certification programs for Tekla Structures and other cutting-edge software tools used by the global architecture, engineering and construction (AEC) industry. The learning programs aim to build a pool of skilled and talented engineers and construction professionals that can contribute to the ongoing transformation of the Indian construction industry. Trimble has so far trained and certified over 700 professionals through its ATCs, and aims to grow this number to 10,000 professionals by 2020.
In addition, Tekla helps the students of engineering colleges build their future career by equipping them with desired 3D structural modelling software for their learning and knowledge enhancement purposes. The Campus download allows the students to get their free license and immediately start learning upon registering on Tekla’s official website with their email id. The total number of student downloads have exceeded over 90,000 till date and this number continues to swell rapidly.
