The signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the School of Computer of Engineering(SCOPE), VIT-AP University and IDS Inc. USA was held virtually on the Wednesday of 2nd June 2021 to join efforts in research and development and upskilling undergrads and grad students in Blockchain technology.
Dr. S V Kota Reddy, Vice-Chancellor, VIT–AP University after signing the MoU with IDS Inc. USA, told, this MoU is to impart skill and capabilities to the students in Blockchain Technology and enable them to build their career in this emerging field. This will also provide an opportunity to the students, scholars, and faculty members to carry out research and to develop several advanced applications using Blockchain Technology. Further, IDS will provide internships with financial support, and job opportunities to selected students of VIT-AP University.
Sudharshan Reddy Minumula, CEO, IDS Inc. USA said, that this collaboration with VIT-AP University will help faculty and students to explore and work with next-generation technologies.
Aravind Voruganti, Vice President of IDS said that this will encourage and enable students to pursue a career in Blockchain technology. IDS, as a HyperLedger Training Partner is creating quality talent pipeline from academia to industry. IDS is keen on supporting students through seed funding for any entrepreneurial initiatives/ ideas, he added.
