NEW DELHI: Smartphone maker Xiaomi has already confirmed that it will launch its latest Mi 11 series of smartphones in India on April 23. The company has now confirmed that at the same event it will also launch its new Mi smart TV.
The company has started sending out media invites in which it confirmed that it will launch the Mi QLED TV 75 in India. The smart TV is said to be the successor of Mi QLED TV 55 which the company launched in December last year.
Rumours also suggest that Mi QLED TV 75 is the same smart TV which the company launched in Europe in February this year.
The Mi QLED TV 75 comes with an edge-to-edge display and quantum dot technology. The smart TV also offers support for Dolby Vision and HDR10+. It also features a 30W stereo speaker system which includes two tweeters and four woofers. The device also offers support for Dolby Audio and DTS-HD.
It runs Android TV 10 and comes with dedicated microphones for far-field voice control. The smart TV packs 2GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage.
In terms of connectivity, the smart TV offers Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, HDMI, headphone jack and Ethernet. The Mi Voice remote also offers support for Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa.
As mentioned above, Xiaomi will launch its Mi 11 series smartphone in India on April 23. The company has also confirmed that the most expensive Mi 11 Ultra will be available online on Amazon India website.
It is also expected that along with the Mi 11 series, the company might also launch the Mi 11X series in India. Online rumours suggest that the Mi 11X series is expected to include two handsets — Mi 11X and Mi 11X Pro. These are said to be the rebranded versions of the Redmi K40 and Redmi K40 Pro Plus that were launched in China earlier this year.
